Subject: 100 Discount tickets available for Starmus V Festival

To celebrate the IAU 100th anniversary, the Starmus Festival ( www.starmus.com ) is providing us with 100 discount tickets at 100 Euros (the regular price to attend the 6-day festival is 900 Euros) to distribute between IAU networks.

Starmus is a biennial festival bringing together leading scientists, legendary astronauts and iconic musicians and artists who share their passion for knowledge with the public. It will be held in Zurich (Switzerland) on 24-29 June 2019 and has and incredible line-up of Nobel Prize Winners and prominent figures from science and art, including Emmanuelle Charpentier, Richard Dawkins, Elizabeth Blackburn, Chris Hadfield, Sir Martin Rees, Tim Peake, Helen Sharman, Bill Nye, Jill Tarter, Donna Strickland, Michel Mayor, May Britt-Moser Kip Thorne, Robert Wilson, Eric Betzig, Brian Schmidt, Ewine van Dishoeck, Bob Williams, Brian May, Briand Eno and many more, see www.starmus.com/speakers-v/

To celebrate 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing, the festival will also welcome many astronauts from the Apollo mission crews, including Michael Collins, Bill Anders, Charlie Duke, Rusty Schweickart, Al Worden and Walt Cunningham.

We are distributing the possibility to access the reduced price tickets (100 Euros) on a first come, first served basis.

Vous devez activer le JavaScript pour la visualiser. with your full name and email details. We will compile a list up to a 100 people and we will send it to the Starmus Festival organisation. Then they will get in touch with the persons interested to give the instructions to buy the ticket for the reduced price of 100 Euros.

Please note that the IAU cannot provide the funding for buying the tickets nor any funding for travelling to the Festival.
